El Dorado Single Barrel PM is a single-distillate Demerara rum from the Port Mourant double-pot greenheart still — a still that provided rum to the British Royal Navy for nearly two centuries — aged a minimum of 12 years, with rich molasses and deep, dark caramel flavors.
El Dorado’s Single Barrel Collection showcases what each of its historic heritage stills produces on its own, rather than as a blend. All begin with alluvial-grown sugarcane and first-boil molasses fermented with house yeast, aged in once-used American bourbon barrels under tropical conditions below sea level on the Demerara coast. Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
